In 1991, our team created the Cecil Ram UN Semester Program in partnership with the United Nations Institute of Training and Research (UNITAR). The program enabled college students to take classes and intern at the UN for full college credit. The classes were taught by ambassadors and enabled student to learn about the complexities of the UN ecosystem. The Cecil Ram UN Semester Program was launched by UN Under Secretary General, Michel Doo Kingue; Former President, Jimmy Carter; Former Atlanta Mayor, Maynard Jackson.
Our team also created the Caribbean Institute of Technology in Jamaica in 1998. We trained 50K+ students in C++, Java, VB, .NET, and many other technologies. Our team essentially created the technology industry in Jamaica which employs over 50K and earned $300M in taxes in 2018.
At Caesars Entertainment, members of our team helped launch Black Fire Innovation, a groundbreaking public-private partnership between Caesars and UNLV. The Park offers one-of-a-kind infrastructure to attract mutually beneficial collaborations between UNLV and the private sector; support entrepreneurship, innovation & start-ups; and facilitate translational research. Black Fire Innovation’s mission is to:
- Showcase innovations and trends
- To spur creativity and entrepreneurship among students and the community
- Foster innovation from technology partners through research & real-world engagements
- Be an economic driver for local industry and community
We help Governments create technology HUBs nearshore in order to be able to offer:
- Nearshore Extended Teams (staffing) model
- Specialized certification programs
- A mix of experience with new graduates
- Training on client methodologies
- Partnership for real-world engagement
